Brit Award-winning group Kaiser Chiefs join a number of other bands for a series of live music nights at the Newmarket Races, with their gig hosted on Friday July 15.

This is the second year in a row the band has performed at the races. Lead singer Ricky Wilson said, “We can’t wait to headline Newmarket Racecourse and to be part of the venue’s 350th anniversary celebrations. Last year’s sell out show was a lot of fun, 2016 will be even better.”

Other bands who will be performing at confirmed dates over the summer include Jess Glynne, Little Mix, Tears for Fears, McBusted, Will Young and The Corrs. These events will hopefully prove to be as popular as previous years.

Newmarket is celebrating 350 years of horse racing this year, and as well as the music events happening over the next months, other events and promotions will be on during the summer. Tickets for seeing the bands are currently on sale.

With many of these events over the summer being held close to our holiday parks in Suffolk and Essex, you can take the chance to celebrate 350 years of racing at Newmarket as well – maybe place a few bets too!
