The National Cycle Network celebrated its 20th anniversary last year. Two decades ago Bristol based charity Sustrans began creating the National Cycle Network, a network of cycling paths that would span the UK, linking city, countryside and coast.
They were unlikely to imagine that it would eventually grow into the 14,000 miles that exists today. Some of the most memorable routes lead to hidden landscapes unreachable by road, offering amazing views that cant be found behind a windscreen.
Why not grab your bike and go explore, get active and take in the sights and smells of the coastal parts of the National Cycle Network!
