The Wells Pirate festival started in 2011 and shiver me timbers its back the 9th -11th September!

There has never been a better excuse to don an eye patch as the Wells Pirate Festival sails back into town. There will be great activities on Smugglers Cove on the quay with boat trips and weapon demonstrations, follow the treasure trail, visit the photography exhibition in the Sackhouse or the dance the night away to live music over a rum or two!
