A Testimonial for Waterside

We asked proud owners Ken and Sue Lewis why they invested in both residential and holiday properties with us.

What made you choose Waterside Park?

Whilst our Tingdene Barnwell residential home at Oaktree Park in Attleborough, Norfolk, was being built, Tingdene offered for us to stay at Waterside Park in the summer this year. It was a real acid test, as we got an insight into life on the park and loved it. You can't really get a better experience to base a decision on, so we put an offer on bungalow 17.

What type of holiday home have you purchased and why?

A 2 bedroom Bungalow. We designed it for both ourselves and our guests to enjoy. It's ideal for us to use as a holiday home, plus the layout lends itself well to the guests that will be staying in it, whether they are elderly or a young family.

Tell about why you decided invest in a Tingdene Holiday Home as well as own one of our residential homes?

Primarily for investment reasons, plus we now have a lovely seaside retreat at Waterside Park as well as a residential home at Oaktree Park in Attleborough! We will be letting our property here at Waterside Park out when we are not here to offset our running costs and hopefully make an income.

What things do you think you will do locally in Suffolk and what places are looking forward to exploring?

We have explored the area extensively since being here. We love Southwold, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. There. are some really interesting sites of local history locally including West Stow Anglo Saxon Village. Waterside Park is perfectly located for exploring the local area, plus it is well located in between some popular seaside resorts for families.

How did you first ever hear about Tingdene?

Our first experience of Tingdene was the initial visit to Broadway Park (residential park). From that first initial visit, we went on to other parks before making a choice. We have had excellent service by both the residential and holiday parks team members. We are extremely happy with 17 and the refurbishment. We can to wait to get our furniture in there and start enjoying our holiday home!

A testimonial for Rainbows End

We asked proud owner Ian Bartram at number 52 why he and his sister chose a holiday property with us at Rainbow's End.

What made you choose Rainbow's End Park and how long have you been here?

Me and my sister knew we wanted to buy a holiday home and came here on holiday for the first time 2 years ago. We fell in love as soon as we drove through the gate; we didn't even look anywhere else!

What things do you like to do locally?

We love walking the dogs around the park and along the beach, finding a dog friendly place was important. We love the local pubs, its a very relaxed way of life.

What would you say to potential holiday home owners who are thinking of coming to Rainbow's End?

I would highly recommend it, it's a very lovely place. It's an easy life, we like that we can just go with the flow. It's so quiet which is what we were looking for and there's so much space. We love our end property as we have a large decking area, and I'd definitely recommend under floor heating.

We use Hoseasons and Tingdene to rent our property out which makes life very easy indeed.

How did you first ever hear about Tingdene?

We found this park through Hoseasons whilst looking for a park with a property to buy.

A testimonial for north denes

We asked proud owners J.J and Kitty why they brought their holiday home to us.

How long have you been here at North Denes Park?

We've been here for 3 years; we moved our caravan from Seashore Holiday Park in Caister.

Tell us why you came to North Denes Park?

Seashore is too busy. It catered mainly for families and you could never get any peace. Here, it is nice and quiet. There's a great community and the staff are lovely! The location of the park is great for accessing the local area.

What's your favourite place in the local area?

We love Gorleston! I love the seafront where the boating pond is in particular. We also like South Beach in Lowestoft.

What would you say to caravan owners who are thinking of coming to North Denes?

Do it! It's lovely; the people here are great and so are the staff! You can take the dogs for a lovely walk on the front too.
