Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail by Cheryl Strayed
If you are searching for a holiday read that will provide you with determination, passion and a desire to reach for your dreams and achieve your craziest imaginations, this is it. The story follows the main character, Strayed as she hikes over the nine mountain ranges of the Pacific Crest Trail. While the story does little to describe the incredible surroundings she witnesses, it creates a picture of the inconceivable and admirable emotional challenges an inexperienced hiker, who took on the challenge by herself, must face. From unimaginable blisters, lost hiking shoes, to facing the fear of bears and the darkness.
