UK Domestic Travel trends for 2019

Domestic tourism in the UK saw record breaking spending figures from January to June 2018. VisitEngland reports that UK holidaymakers spent £4.7 billion in England in this time frame, up 4% on the same period in 2017. With the weather this summer being the UK’s joint hottest on record, the expectation of another great summer season means that the UK looks set to continue to be a popular destination in 2019, with 59% of people planning a domestic break.
