An alternative guide to the Royal Norfolk Show 2019!
Tingdene has a lot of connections with Norfolk, with holiday parks, marinas and residential park offerings in our portfolio in the area. Over the years, we have become really passionate about this unique part of the UK. As we are heading, once again, to the Royal Norfolk Show for 2019 on the 26th & 27th June, we take a look at what is on offer! On top of the fabulous livestock and equine, food and drink this year, there is a host of new and exciting things to do and see for visitors - check out our alternative guide to the Royal Norfolk Show…
Rolls Royce’s to the RAF
For the first time ever, expect to see a parade of Rolls Royce’s that date back to 1898! This will be a must for any car enthusiast and will be found in the Grand Ring alongside the RAF Falcons parachute display team - keep your eyes on the sky for this one! There will also be a pageant portraying farming’s progress since 1919 by the NFU!
A new mini music festival - Sunset Sounds added to the lineup!
Expect new live music at Sunset Sounds - a new mini festival on the Wednesday evening! The show will be staying open later, enabling you to soak up the sounds, enjoy the food & drink and join the party! The lineup includes a mix of country, rock, Americana & blues - bands include Morganway (pictured above), Skerryvore, a Scottish ‘trad-rock’ fusion band, UK country/American band Sam Coe and The Long Shadows plus Norwich-based singer/songwriter Lucy Grubb. The Sunset Sounds will be hosted by the BBC’s Keith Greentree.
Alternative food & drink from across the county
Possibly our favourite part of the Royal Norfolk Show is the amazing food, drink and artisans on offer! Visit the Adnams food & drink experience, see the art of butchery show and taste all the gourmet burgers, gourmet coffee’s and posh Pimms! Foodies can indulge in mouth-watering local liqueurs, strawberries and delicious local apple juice. Be warned - there is a high chance you will heading home with a bag full of pâté, pickles, jams, breads and other temptations including seasonal fruit, fudge, seafood and quite possibly some amazing cakes.
Farm machinery, equine, livestock and Tingdene!
Check out the super show-jumping, massive farm machinery and the rare breeds of cattle. The programme of farming, livestock and equine is jam packed! In between your travels around the show discovering all things Norfolk… pop by and visit the Tingdene stand! Founded in 1969 the Tingdene Group of companies first established itself as the leading park home manufacturer in the country and since then has expanded its range of operations into becoming one of the UK's largest operators and owners of residential park homes estates, inland Marinas and holiday parks - See what we have on offer in Norfolk!
