Anderby Creek is one of Lincolnshire’s best kept secrets, and is the perfect place to get away from the crowds and enjoy this secluded spot. Anderby Creek is a quiet hamlet with a beach that is backed by sand dunes. There is little to disturb the peace here which makes it the perfect spot for children wanting to create their masterpiece sandcastle, find their favourite shell to take home and treasure or find crabs in the rockpools.
Cleethorpes is the best of both worlds, with access to the busy town and a sandy beach within a 5-minute walk of each other, everything you might need is close by. If you want a snack or a hearty meal, there is a large selection of great places to grab a bite to eat. You can even have sea views whilst you enjoy your meal, as there is a fish and chip shop on the pier which comes highly recommended - a visit to the beach wouldn’t be complete without a taste of the seaside for your dinner.

Gibraltar Point is a coastal nature reserve with a visitors centre and bird observatory. This beach is a fantastic spot for nature lovers, wildlife watchers and walkers. There are vast areas of open grassland which are home to rare wildflowers and insects. The saltmarsh makes a great home for birds. While you are there you may spot skylark, meadow pipit, little tern or ringed plover, sit quietly with your binoculars and marvel at the stunning birds and their displays.
