Eating out is a regular while you are on holiday and it is one of the best things about going away. No arguments about who is going to cook or do the washing up when someone else does it for you! Mablethorpe and the surrounding areas have a fantastic selection of great places to eat while you are away. Whether you’re satisfying a sweet tooth, want a light salad or dripping ribs – the choice is yours. So, before you set off for caravan holidays in Lincolnshire, here are a handful of the great places in Mablethorpe for a bite to eat...

Dave’s Restaurant

It’s not every day we can have a fry up, but when you are on holiday there is no better time to treat yourself, and this is the place to go for the ultimate brekkie. Dave has been serving a range of tasty bites for over 20 years and will welcome you into his restaurant as though you are old friends. Sourcing local Lincolnshire sausages and quality bacon, the fry up is the fuel you need for your day’s explorations. They also serve fresh to order salads, sandwiches and much more – keeping everyone happy and well fed!

Lady B’s Cupcakery

Lady B’s Tearoom is a must when visiting Mablethorpe. Homemade and award-winning cakes served daily. These are everything and more than you would expect, they really must be seen to be believed. Amazingly decorated, elaborate and large it makes you wonder how they even begin to think about slicing them - Mary Berry would be proud! The interior is funky and quirky, with spotty tablecloths and bunting, there are places to eat inside and out on a sunny day. There is a traditional high tea available when booked; finger sandwiches, scones and desserts all served on vintage china. The generous portions, tantalising flavours and comfortable surroundings will leave you with a smile on your face and a satisfied stomach.

The Dunes

The Dunes boast generous portions and a great selection of dishes which will suit all tastes within the family. There is regular entertainment from tribute acts and local bands. With sea views, great music and delicious food it ticks all the boxes. During the school holidays, they have a fantastic schedule of activities for the younger audience, so you can enjoy a cup of coffee while they are well entertained.

The Cromwell Thai Restaurant

The Cromwell Thai Restaurant has an understated interior but don’t let this put you off; there is a wide selection of authentic and flavoursome dishes. The staff are friendly and helpful, so if you haven’t eaten Thai food before and are wondering what you will like, they are more than willing to give you guidance, or if you are a regular Thai diner, they can advise something new for you to try. The food is fresh, fragrant and they offer a takeaway service so you can enjoy your meal at our beach view holiday park.

The Kings Head Inn

The thatched pub celebrates that it is family-run and the pride the owners take is clear in their presentation and taste of their food. Situated in a small hamlet just outside of Mablethorpe, surrounded by fields, The King Head Inn has a selection of great food, wines and real ales. With a warming atmosphere and welcoming landlords, it will be a joy to visit.

Salty’s

No holiday to the seaside would be complete without a classic, English, fish and chip supper. Whether you like a freshly fried fish, pie or battered sausage your preference will be met here and Salty’s is one of the best in the area. Why not take your supper and enjoy it on the beach while the sun goes down?

Sea Breeze Restaurant

Sea Breeze offers fine dining with sea views. They pride themselves in supporting small, local businesses which is where they get their seasonal ingredients to make the delicious, mouth-watering meals. The menu ranges from classic pub dishes to locally landed lobsters.
