About your Holiday Home Hacks presenter - meet Pete Goodrum
Drum roll please… may I introduce to your host and presenter for your monthly podcasts, Pete Goodrum. Pete is a writer and broadcaster based in Norfolk. He has written several books about local history and a bit about poetry too. Most of his books have topped best seller charts. He has written about the history of Norfolk and Norwich in particular. He has written and presented films and documentaries - the film ‘Sixteen Minutes’ was the first one to be bought by BBC One from a local TV company. Documentaries he has made include ‘Norfolk’s Hidden Gems’ and ‘The History of the Freemen’. He has appeared as the presenter - sometimes having written them - in promotional videos for holidays and photography. Pete makes regular guest appearances on BBC radio, covering all sorts of subjects, and usually creating a lot of audience interaction. He wrote and presented ‘Backtrack’, a music series for Future Radio, plus he has done voice overs too. He does quite a lot of public speaking. From talks, often based on his books, to corporate events to compering shows. You may also recognise Pete from some Tingdene Lifestyle Videos looking at some our holiday parks, locations and holiday homes across the UK.

About Tingdene Lifestyle - how are we and why do we love UK holiday homes?
To start this story, we have to go back in history several years. In 1969 Jim Gibbard started manufacturing Park Homes and Lodges establishing Tingdene Homes. A separate venture into owning and managing Residential Parks during the 1980's saw the formation of Tingdene Developments, (now part of the Tingdene Group). Since then the Tingdene Group has expanded its range of operations to become one of the UK's largest operators and owners of residential Park Homes Estates, Inland Marinas, Caravan Parks, Lodge Parks and Chalet Parks.
