We’re thrilled to be part of the very first Lowestoft 10K, which is passing through Tingdene North Denes Caravan Park.
Tingdene North Denes Park is delighted to be part of this historic community event. All 699 places were snapped up in under five days, and we’re so excited to welcome runners, walkers, and supporters to this unique new event.
Organised by Lowestoft Town Council, this race is much more than a run — it’s a celebration of community, participation, and wellbeing. We’re proud to be working alongside the Council on an event that’s rooted in bringing people together, promoting healthy lifestyles, and showcasing the very best of our east coast town.
As Britain’s most easterly race, the Lowestoft 10K offers a truly special experience. The two-lap, 10K course starts at Denes Oval and winds its way through North Denes, along the scenic sea wall, and past local landmarks including Ness Point and Ness Park. With tarmac, grass, trail paths, and a short section of gravel, the route offers variety and charm, and its mostly flat terrain makes it ideal for participants of all abilities.
Whether you're running, walking, or mixing both, this event is about inclusion, not just competition. It’s designed to be supportive, encouraging, and fun for everyone, no matter the pace or experience level. The course has been accurately measured by a UKA-affiliated course measurer and will be fully marshalled and clearly signposted to keep participants safe and on track.
With warm weather expected on the day, all entrants are encouraged to come prepared: wear appropriate clothing, apply sunscreen, and stay well-hydrated. A good breakfast and a bit of pre-run prep will go a long way in helping you enjoy the experience to the fullest.
