Norfolk Growing Stage – NEW!

The Royal Norfolk Show is taking a new and fresh approach to how cooking is represented over the two-days and the NEW Norfolk Growing Stage (found in the new Horticultural Show) will host no less than 14 cookery and food-related events including chef demonstrations from some of the region’s most loved upcoming and established professionals. The line-up includes masterclasses from Roger Hickman of the restaurant of the same name, Andrew Jones of The Dial House and Farmyard Restaurant and Mo Johansen, Head Chef at Elveden Courtyard.

The Spire Solicitors Grand Ring Spectacular

The Grand Ring programme offers an impressive line-up of action packed displays and events. The programme includes some old favourites such as top-level showjumping and Scurry Driving, parade of hounds, the Grand parade of champion horses and livestock and the RAF Falcons parachute display team. Stunning entertainment will be provided by the Adrenaline Tour Quad Bike stunt displays and Norfolk Remembers will be a unique commemoration for the centenary of the end of the First World War.

Farming, livestock and equine

From big beast farm machinery and some of the largest cattle in the land to rare breeds and world class show-jumping, the Royal Norfolk Show’s farming, livestock and equine programme will be packed as ever.

Plus, The Queen’s Prize Perpetual Challenge Trophy presented on behalf of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is awarded to a different section at the Royal Norfolk Show each year and is on a 7 year rotation through the following sections: Beef Cattle, Heavy Horses, Sheep, Pigs, Goats, Dairy Cattle and Light Horses.  This year the winner of this prestigous award will be from the Heavy Horse section.
