St Peter’s brewery, located in North Suffolk, has unveiled a new ale to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday on the 11th June.

Called “All Ale To The Queen”, the 4.2% amber ale is said to have a treacle toffee flavour, with a light aroma and subtle hints of fruit.

St Peter’s is known for producing new monthly ales and flavours to tie in with the seasons, and the team couldn’t pass up the opportunity to create a special brew to celebrate the 90th birthday of Britain’s longest reigning monarch.

Speaking of the new creation, chief executive Steve Magnall said:

“The Queen’s 90th birthday is a really special occasion and it’s really important we celebrate it because she is a part of everyone’s lives. She is an institution and we have got to celebrate someone who has been around for that long.”

The brewing and racking process took around two weeks to complete, and the ale has been sent out to pubs across Suffolk, Norfolk, London, Cambridge and Essex.

Locally, the ale is available at The King’s Head in Beccles and The Fleece Inn in Bungay, both located just a short distance from our Waterside holiday park.

The brewery is also working on its next special ale called Two Decades, which will mark the 20th anniversary of the company.

So if you are in the area, why not raise a pint to celebrate Her Majesty’s birthday? We’ll certainly drink to that!
