This summer has seen a huge rise in the amount of British holidaymakers staying within the UK for their summer holidays, and seaside destinations like our Waterside holiday park will receive the most visitors.
The primary reason people are staying in Britain this summer is the rise in prices for going abroad due to Brexit, but many UK tourist spots will be welcoming the increase of British people enjoying a staycation, as well as receiving more visitors from abroad.
There could be as many as 5% of British people, around 2.5 million, deciding to holiday at home this year, with Cornwall, London, the Lake District and Norfolk and Suffolk as some of the most popular destinations.
It looks like the staycation boom will also continue into 2017, and many in the tourist industry will be looking to ensure the rise in both British staycations and visitors from abroad continues.
Our holiday parks in Suffolk and Norfolk are the perfect place for UK holiday makers. As well as those who have their second homes located in one of our parks, there is a chance to rent out these homes, buy your own, or even come with your own caravan to stay at the parks.
With the Broads, seaside villages and long stretches of golden sand at your doorstep, there is nowhere better.
