According to The Times, Wells-next-the-Sea should be the beach you must visit this year, and with our chalets for sale in our Norfolk holiday parks close by, you can’t miss the opportunity to walk along the beautiful sands.

The Times recommend clearing your diary to take the time to visit the pretty village in North Norfolk, and discover the flat sands with the distant sea lapping away at the shores. It is a great destination for all types of beach goers.

Families will enjoy the expanse of golden sand that make for multiple sand castles, the calmer waters are great for a swim in the late afternoon when the water has warmed up a little from the daytime sun, and those who want to explore after a couple hours sunbathing have the village on their doorstep.

The beach itself, even in the peak tourist times, will always have room. The colourful beach huts facing the beach are framed with sweet smelling Scots pine trees, and the beach side fish and chip shops are worth queuing for.

Close by Wells-next-the-Sea you can also experience the Area of Natural of Beauty, a number of fantastic RSPB reserves and you can also book a boat ride to Blakeney Point to see the grey and common seals bobbing in the water or resting on the sandbanks.

We have to agree with The Times that Wells-next-the-Sea is one of Norfolk’s best beaches, and when on holiday this summer, you should make the extra effort to see this beautiful slice of the county.
