EASTER COLOURING COMPETITION
Lowestoft Library, Clapham Road South NR32 1DR

There is fun for everyone this Easter with our colouring competitions. We have lots of Easter treats for the kids and even some for the big kids too with two Easter Hampers to be won! Simply collect a sheet from Lowestoft Library, colour it in and post a photo of it to our Facebook  page before April 2nd 2018 for your chance to win. There will be one sheet for children and one sheet for adults. The entry with the most likes wins! So hop to it and get colouring!

EASTER EGG HUNT
Somerleyton Hall & Gardens, Lowestoft NR32 5QF

Complete the Easter trail around our stunning gardens and receive an Easter Egg prize. There will also be a colouring competition in the Loggia for young budding artists, with prizes to be won. The Kitchen Garden Cafe will be open serving refreshments, including homemade cakes. Alternatively, treat yourselves to lunch at The Fritton Arms and choose from the wholesome seasonal estate menu.

Take part in our Crooked Houses Trail this Easter weekend, follow the clues around the village, where will you finish? Will you get back to the Guildhall? Your Cadbury chocolate prize will be waiting for you. Suitable for all ages.

EASTER CRAFT FAIR AND EGG HUNT

Join in for the annual Easter Egg Hunt (ages 0 - 12) who get to keep all the sweets and treats they find. Cupcake and raffle tickets included per ticket with fabulous raffle prizes up for grabs. There will be a craft fair and a crafty table will be available for the children.

EASTER EGG HUNT

Pick up an Easter egg hunt map from our Visitor Centre or Little Rascals and find our friends and their colourful Easter eggs around Snape Maltings. The Easter egg hunt ends in Little Rascals where a small chocolate Easter egg and sticker will be waiting! There’s also a chance to enter our free prize draw.

EASTER FARMERS' MARKET

Snape Maltings have brought together a Mini Food Festival of artisan food and drink at their renowned music venue on the banks of the Alde estuary. This Easter market, like the Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival, is famous for its friendliness and unsurpassed variety of high quality local products, many of which have been produced exclusively for the Easter Market. At the Easter Market  you will find a wonderful array of delicious food and drink which will make your Easter truly special.

WILD THINGS AT EASTER
RSPB Lakenheath Fen, Brandon IP27 9AD

It's the Easter Holidays so come and take part in our Wild Things trail around the Brandon Fen family trail. There will be four challenges to take part in around the trail. Participants will have the opportunity to "go wild", have some fun and the chance to do something to remember us by. You will also have the chance to make something that you can take away with you. All will be revealed when you arrive! The trail will involve pond dipping and bug hunting along with a few other surprises on the way round. Drop in event.

EASTER ON THE PIER
Southwold Pier, North Parade, Southwold IP18 6BN

Decked out across the sea in the picturesque coastal town of Southwold, this pillared walkway has a magnetic attraction and something for everyone to enjoy! There’s so much to do a whole day can drift by while you walk the planks and explore this historic icon.

There will be Punch & Judy shows across the Easter half term, starting on Good Friday, as well as a Staff Easter Egg Competition and an Easter Egg Hunt and Quiz on Easter Sunday.

EASTER MARATHON MUSIC FESTIVAL

The first time 7 of Woodbridge’s finest DJ’s have worked together and they are doing it for Charity at our Marathon Festival in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK. 7 DJ’s and 3 live performances from Caswell, Sorrdes & Peter Hepworth. Last year’s event attracted more than 300 people. Licensed bar & BBQ available.

There will be a range of activities for families to take part in during the Easter holidays. They will be based on the mythical giant Paul Bunyan, a character who was the subject of Benjamin Britten’s 1941 operetta. Sessions will include story-telling, trails, creative sessions and much more. (Closed on Mondays)

FRISTON EASTER ART EXHIBITION

An exhibition and sale of art from local artists, set in the beautiful historic Norman Church of Friston. There will be over 60 pieces of art by some 20 artists of diverse styles and all genres - local landscapes, animals and birds, still life and contemporary in oils, watercolours, pastel, acrylic, ink and pencil. Many will be available to buy at attractive prices and will be ideal mementos of your visit and as gifts. Tea, coffee and cakes will be served in the village hall opposite the Church on Easter Sunday and Monday.

THE GREAT FELIXSTOWE MUSEUM EASTER EGG HUNT
Felixstowe Museum, Viewpoint Road, Felixstowe IP11 3TW

Come and join the giant Landguard Bunny for a fun Easter Egg Hunt. Search the Museum for the coloured eggs, then exchange them for a yummy reward! Also fun bunny ears to make too. This event is suitable for children aged 3-10 years. Older and younger children may attend, but please allow the recommended age group to enjoy the hunt. There is a maximum of 30 children per session.
