When we found out you could take a tour their factory, we thought this would be a fab idea and something to do when you are holidaying or staying at your holiday home on the east coast!
Lotus cars is a British Manufacturer of sports cars famous for its Esprit, Elan, Europa and Elise sports cars. Lotus cars is based at the former site of RAF Hethel, a world war II airfield in Norfolk. The company was founded as Lotus Engineering Ltd by engineers Colin Chapman and Colin Dare, both graduates of University College, London, in 1952.
