1. A Fairytale Christmas at Castle Howard

Castle Howard becomes a wonderland of magic this Christmas from 11th November all the way through to 7th January.

This years theme is a Peter Pan odyssey - with beautiful decorations, installations, and projections. Plus, book tickets to meet Father Christmas with your little ones, or take part in a guided tour or Wreath Workshop to get into the festive spirit.

Enjoy Christmas Shopping and festive menus in the grounds, and even buy a British-grown Christmas tree from the Garden Centre!

2. SCARBOROUGH SPARKLE AT THE OPEN AIR THEATRE

Kick off the festive season with Scarborough Sparkle from 24th - 26th November at the Scarborough Open Air Theatre. A magical, enchanting Christmas wonderland on the North Bay of Scarborough.

Head on over to their magnificent Tipi Bar for a glass of mulled wine, Christmas music, log fires and you can even toast a marshmallow, the perfect way to start the evening!

3. NIGHTFALL LIGHT FESTIVAL AT MIDDLESBROUGH

From November 29 to December 3, Stellar Projects presents an interactive family-friendly light art trail. Enjoy beautiful art, live music, performances, and storytelling over five nights. A magical cosmic adventure under the Middlesbrough night sky, where stars come to life, dance, and play. Don't miss this enchanting event!

4. Santa Specials at North Yorkshire Moors Railway

Head to Pickering or Grosmont Station for the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Christmas event where you’ll get to see Santa and his Elves in a reserved private compartment on a decorated steam train.

Book a private compartment now for November 25th, 26th, and December 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, and 24th, with 4 departure times per day!
