News has come this week that people who put their christmas decorations up earlier are happier, all of our favourite Christmas ads are on the TV, festive hot drinks and sandwiches have been on the high street for weeks; it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Here's a list of the festive happenings in Norfolk and Suffolk this weekend, from Light Switch Ons to Craft Fairs:

Norfolk Christmas Fair at Oxnead Hall
Thornage Hall provides supported living accommodation in 5 houses located in the beautiful surroundings of the Thornage Hall estate.
This years Christmas Fundraiser Event at Oxnead Hall will feature their own stall, selling a range of items made at Thornage Hall, as well as serving lunch and coffees. A variety of other stalls will be there selling homewares, jewellery, clothes gifts and food.

Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre
With over 300 stalls filling the city plus entertainment all weekend, Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre is not one to be missed!
Opening at 14:00 on Thursday with a children's lantern parade at 17:30 and fireworks at 19:45, plus a cookery theatre, traditional street markets, a Christmas bazaar at the cathedral plus so much more.

Beccles Christmas Lights Switch On
The fun begins with the lights being switched on at 6pm by the cast from Beccles Panto Robin Hood, along with The Mayor and Heart Radio. There will be live entertainment acts on the main stage along with street entertainment provided by the ever popular Suffolk School of Samba plus a few surprises!
There is always a great variety of stalls selling festive gifts, crafts, toys and decorations alongside wonderful street food and drink including of course mulled wine!

Great Yarmouth Christmas Fayre
Annual three-day Christmas extravaganza with craft, food and gifts stalls and festive entertainment on the Market Place and in the Priory Centre and Great Yarmouth Minster.
The town’s lights switch-on is on Friday at 7pm, followed by a rooftop firework display. On Saturday and Sunday there will be a Santa’s Grotto, gift stalls, a Christmas ‘Comfort Kitchen’ and children’s activities and events.

Festive Fair at The Forum
Christmas market featuring a host of indoor and outdoor stalls selling East Anglian arts, crafts and produce, perfect for Christmas presents and stocking fillers.
There will be over 50 indoor stalls and around 20 outdoor stalls selling everything from contemporary jewellery, pretty pottery, elegant glassware and wonderful woodwork to interesting prints, paintings and cards, colourful tins and textiles, some fabulous festive plants and much more. There will also be some wonderful winter produce such as home-made sweets, mince pies, cheese, preserves and so on.

Norwich Vegans 3rd Annual Christmas Market at OPENNorwich
After the huge successes of their first two Christmas Markets, and their successful first Summer Fayre, the Norwich Vegans Annual Christmas Market returns with over 50 stalls featuring local vegan businesses, delicious vegan food, free samples, face painting, the Norwich Vegans stall and more.
An opportunity to stock up on compassionate, cruelty free holiday gifts, cards, crafts, and delicious treats.

Christmas Craft Market at Pensthorpe Natural Park
Pensthorpe Natural Park’s first-ever Christmas craft market. There will be an array of 35 craft and food stalls and Cawston Brass Band will be performing.
Pensthorpe’s Gift Shop also offers a wide selection of unique gifts, including handmade craft items, jewellery, homewares, decorations and locally produced food and drink products.
